What is 40 Under 40?

The Bio Supply Management Alliance (BSMA), the pre-eminent association for Supply Chain executives in Life Sciences, is proud to recognize the winners of the 40 Under FORTY program — an initiative celebrating outstanding young leaders under 40 who are shaping the future of Supply Chain Management in Life Sciences.

With supply chain management principles and practices driving advancements in global healthcare, this award honors individuals making significant contributions through innovation, leadership, and achievement. These professionals are not just part of the future — they are actively shaping it.

Each recipient will be honored with an award plaque, featured on the BSMA website and in our communications, and receive complimentary tickets to the upcoming BSMA Summit.

Eligibility
Nominees must be younger than 40 years of age as of Dec. 31, 2026, and work in the Life Sciences sector in a role supporting Supply Chain Management. Roles may include (but are not limited to):
Planning, Clinical Supply, Commercial Supply, Purchasing, Inventory Management, Transportation and Logistics, Warehousing, Technology, QA, Governmental Regulations
How to Nominate
Nominations for the 2027 program will open in September 2026. We will accept both peer nominations and self-nominations through our official nomination form.

Nominations will be reviewed and judged by considering the nominee’s achievement in one of more of the following areas:

– Advancement of Industry Knowledge
